This is a real dinosaur foot.

It still amazes me that these things were REAL and that we’re finding things like this. Skeletons are one thing but this foot is freaking wild.

carcinoaquarium

yeah thats cool an all but thats not a dinosaur foot or evven anywwhere near that old

sorry to burst any bubbles but thats a fuckin upland moa (megalapteryx didinus) wwhich wwas a largish flightless bird wwhich only died out around 500 years ago

its not prehistoric by any standards an museums got plenty a specimens of older animal an evven human flesh as good preservved as this an better

not sayin it aint awwesome findin an excellent specimen a some extinct species (btww wwhich in this case wwas wwiped out p much entirely by HUMANS)

but its not “a real dinosaur foot” its basically an emu an a ton a museums havve other flesh an skin samples an eggs an feathers from em

to put it in perspectivve

christopher columbus wwas landin in the americas around the time this guy died out

he livved more a hundred years after dante wwrote his divvine comedy

leonardo da vvinci could a drawwn him if hed been in the right place

anywway my point im tryin a make here is that preservved foot from an extinct featherbeast is fuckin badass in its owwn right wwhy you gotta add a bunch a hyperbolic fakeass bullshit huh
