Sherlock definitely spends the rest of this episode miffed about this. 

Here’s the thing…. Sherlock isn’t a moron. He knows what a date is. He knows the definition of “date” and he still said “That’s what I was suggesting.”. So all I’m saying is….I don’t have to ship Johnlock…the SHOW ships Johnlock.
