Is it bad that while watching this scene I kept thinking, “He’s doing it incorrectly! With a crop to get optimal bruising, you have to have a sort of flick back motion to cause the tip to really hit with full force. Sort of like a really, really short whip.”
The way he’s swinging it, he’d have better results with a metal cane/rod.
