okay so to earn my gold award for girl scouts, i have to do a thing called a journey. they’re basically designed to get you in the mindset you need for your gold award, and the one me and this girl in my troop chose to do is called “girl topia” and it’s all about feminism, yeah? so we were answering the questions in the book and one of them was something along the lines of, “what would a perfect world be for girls.” so i had watched this video already and keeping it in mind i said, “girls should be allowed to walk down the street naked and not be raped.” and the other girl in my troop laughed and said, “well if you’re naked then you’re just asking for it.” i was seeing red
